The Palestine Human Rights Campaign (PHRC) offers a number of services, including advertising of events, distribution of news and the publication of the PHRC Newsletter.

The PHRC reserves the right to accept or reject any submitted material with no appeal process possible. The PHRC works hard to ensure the quality and standard of all material exhibited on phrconline.org and will endeavour to maintain this high standard.

Should you wish to submit any event or information then it must fit into the structure set-up through the submittal forms. Any piece of information or material that does not conform to this structure will not be accepted. Further to that, the PHRC will only distribute via its e-list PHRC sponsored, endorsed or organised events as well as any relevant television program or alert.

In the case of submitting articles for publication or otherwise, the contributor certifies that it has not been published previously, is an original work and does not infringe on any other right of any person and that the contributor accepts these terms.

We appreciate that this might increase the difficulty of people attempting to submit information to the site, so we appreciate your understanding and support of the PHRC's policy.

Privacy

The Palestine Human Rights Campaign takes your online privacy very seriously. Therefore, unless you explicitly state otherwise, or we explicitly state otherwise, any data that we collect as a result of your use of the site remains confidential.

Why do we collect ANY data on our users? Like many web sites, we collect non-personally identifiable information about our users primarily for two purposes:

Log Files

We use "cookies" to allow you to measure overall traffic patterns on our site. For example, cookies can tell us which sections of phrconline.org are most popular with our users. Cookies served by phrconline.org do not gather demographic information about our users.

(A cookie is a small piece of information that our web servers send to your browser and that is stored on your computer. That small piece of information allows our computers to say, "Aha. We have seen this person before," and it also allows our computers to remember things about your past interaction with the site, like, "This person told us that they like to see the weather in Celsius, not Fahrenheit.")

Newsletter

If a user wishes to subscribe to our newsletter, we may ask for some basic demographic information. We use this information to learn more about what kind of person is using our site. In the future, we may use the demographic information that we gather to send you phrconline.org content that may be of special interest to you.

You may choose not to give us any information other than your e-mail, and you will be able to benefit from the service.

Surveys

From time-to-time, our site requests information from users via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose any information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and address), demographic information (such as postal code, age level), and more subjective questions about how you use our site. With surveys, the information that you give us will not be associated with you, and that information will be aggregated and used to allow us to monitor and improve the use and satisfaction of the site.

In some cases, we run contests in conjunction with sponsors. When this is the case, we may wish to share the information that you give with that sponsor, but if this is the case, you will be clearly notified.

This website takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also protect user-information off-line.
